My awesome mate Amy Andrews, has got lush long hair, and she'll be having 15cm of it chopped off at the end of March, to raise £1000 for The Little Princess Trust. The charity provide free, specially made wigs for children who have lost hair to cancer, and aggressive treatments. Amy told me “ I remember having to shave my dad's hair when it started to fall out due to chemo , it was heart breaking seeing him going through that ,let alone a young child who may not understand what's happening. My hair will grow back so I didn't hesitate to do this .If I can make a little prince or princess smile again then that's what I am going to do. Once my hair has grown long enough again in a few years ill do the same again.” I'm confident the people of Shepton will sponsor her for this great cause. Every little helps. Please donate online at www.justgiving.com/goodbyeamyshair , there is also a donation box and sponsorship form in The Club Lounge, Shepton Mallet. Amy raised over £400 for SOS Africa last year, when she was locked up in a haunted prison for 24 hours- along with my husband! Goodness only knows what she'll do next. Please give generously to this wonderful cause - www.justgiving.com/goodbyeamyshair Find out more about the charity here
