My boys brought me up breakfast in bed ( slimming world friendly eggs, bacon, beans ) then I opened my lovely presents including a vintage cake stand from 'Simply Vintage' in Shepton Mallet. After a coffee, I headed over to The Lodge Health & Beauty ( on Haskin's car park) to get my hair done. The hairdresser put it in a fancy 'up do' and even helped my stick on my strip lashes. I usually get 'express' lash extensions done there by Rianna, but she was off that day. I love getting beauty treatments done at the salon, as it's so bright and light, and there are loads of interesting bespoke wooden handmade bits of furniture and items to look at. Must just mention, my usual hair dresser Tash Rochford who can be found at Hair @ Pierre's on the High Street- was not available on Saturday. She's been taking care of my cuts and colors for over two years. And also does high quality extensions. I don't think she'd mind that I 'cheat' on her , just occasionally! lol Later I had a lovely little 'tea party' with the boys. Our friends had agreed to stay over night and babysit the boys, so we headed off about 3ish- to check in to the most gorgeous B&B, in Farrington Gurney - "The Old Parsonage". It's a Grade II listed building, with a real wood fire in the reception- four poster bed in the rooms and the most enormous ensuite I've ever seen. At only £90 a night, it cost less than most standard rooms in Bath City Centre - and was just in a luxurious league of it's own. Read my Trip Advisor Review here - Check out the pics ! After a bath, and getting all dressed up. We headed into Bath to watch "Pricsilla Queen Of The Desert" at Bath Theatre Royal. First we ate dinner in a gorgeous Lebanese Restaurant near the bus station - Comptoir Libanais. The food was lush, it was really bright and colourful in there- and it even has a little shop where you can buy Pistachio Turkish delights and all kinds of delicious sweets. The loos were fab- so I took a load of 'toilet selfies' as well as instagraming the food obvs ! Instagram @mrsbrysonbanks
