Just chilling at home, kids back at school ...time to solve the mystery of Dark Matter & Dark Energy - the solution to this scientific conundrum ..is ironically, i believe NOT within the realms of science.
The clues are certainly within Quantum mechanics, and in man's desperation to believe in Einstein's theory without a cosmic constant - and to find quantifiable and testable 'elegant' equations ...but the actual real answer is staring us in the face, and has been around since the beginning of time.
It may take both a scientist, philosopher and an open minded awakened soul to understand that dark energy which makes up 68.3% of our observable universe - is actually made up from something we know has a definite power, energy and purpose- but we have not yet been able to measure ( in the scientific sense) the answer ?
( That's the elegant, media friendly one-word answer- but I have more evidence of what I actually mean by that..just have to find scientists, cosmologists, quantum physicists, lunatics, conspiracy theorists, geniuses and mentalists who are willing to try and prove it!)
If you could prove the mass/energy of the following - don't you think there would be enough of the 'stuff' in the ever expanding universe to support the theory?
Souls - Of living animals, humans or plants when they die....what happens?
Emotion - Love, fear, hate, hope, attraction, sadness
In all cutures thrpoughout the ages, hen people die- we imagine and visualise that the 'souls' or 'spirits' rise UP into the stars, the sky, the uiverse of 'heaven' - something within our very DNA knows that our life energy transfers into something cosmic when we die- no let's prove it!
Ps. No I am not on acid, or having a hyper bi-polar episode. I just watched 'Horizon' on BBC - and had my own 'though experiment' lol
I'm a 43 year old, mum of two little boys- currently living in Shepton Mallet in Somerset. I'm the Founder and Creative Director of Radio Shepton, a Stand up and comedian and spoken word performer, and write a regular column for The Wells and Shepton Mallet Journal. Which is the basis for my blog usually. I lived in Swedish Lapland for 7 years until 2014 where my boys were born. My partner and I ran a husky dog sledding business. Before that I was a poet, radio presenter, media lecturer, writer, TV producer, actress and burlesque performer ! I never want my life to be boring :)
